AEP 2027 is on pace for record-setting sales volume: we expect close to 5 million MA beneficiaries will move plans based on the initial carrier data we're seeing for plan exits, D-SNP changes, and crosswalks alone.
This is far more than what we saw last AEP. To help agencies stay on the offensive, we just published two new tools breaking down beneficiary movers by geo, plan type, and carrier:
1) 2027 MA Priority Market Map: Shows where carriers have said they plan to invest. Use this as your marketing roadmap. Beneficiaries in these geos will be interested in learning about new plans and competitive benefits.
2) 2027 MA Plan Exit Map: Shows where disruption will be concentrated the most as carriers continue to rethink core plan benefits and market positioning. TX, FL, and NY lead by the number of beneficiaries impacted, but OR, MA, CT are also ones to watch based on disruption rates.
