The Spark team is excited to welcome our new VP of Sales, Tom Loach! With over 20 years of Medicare experience leading carrier sales teams, we know that Tom will play a major role in helping Spark recruit new agents and agencies so that they can accelerate their business growth. Tom currently lives in Boise, Idaho and enjoys running, skiing, and exploring the backroads of Idaho on his motorcycle.
In previous roles, Tom has developed strategic plans to achieve growth targets, negotiated carrier contracts, and grown Medicare revenue by securing new sponsorship agreements and generating Medicare Advantage leads. Tom has had notable success on the carrier end including over 20 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. For the past four years Tom worked with an FMO with an emphasis on Medicare Advantage, eHealth. At eHealth, Tom developed deep, strategic relationships with new and existing carriers across the country and developed strategies to increase sales and increase the plan options available to members.
Tom's role at Spark will be focused on expanding our agent footprint nationally and driving topline growth. Tom is excited to be a part of a company that is disrupting the Medicare industry and challenging the current FMO model. Spark offers new tools, support, and services that allow agents to succeed in growing their business by saving them time and making them more money. Tom will be working to evangelize Spark’s offering to prospective agents across the country, all in an effort to ultimately give every Medicare beneficiary the best care and service possible.
